Goyder North received Planning Consent for up to 135 wind turbines equivalent to approximately 1,000 MW of wind power and three standalone big batteries with a total storage capacity of up to 900 MW / 3,600 MWh.  

The Project has since been refined and the focus is on progressing:

• Goyder North Wind Farm, to be built in stages of up to 99 turbines, has commenced construction on the first stage, comprising 346 MW.
• Goyder Battery is being built in stages with two standalone assets currently under construction and with a combined capacity of 454 MW / 1,814 MWh. More information on this can be seen here.
